We don’t have to tell you nutrition is a good thing. But it’s also a strategic thing, learning to eat in ways that fit both your life
and your needs (and that complement your training, of course). As nutritionists,* we’re not simply going to tell you to
eat more greens (but do); we’ll help you navigate the obstacles in your way, from sharing meals out with friends to concerns about chemical additives.
And as with our personal training, we always emphasize the positive: more energy, less inflammation, and all the ways that food can be fun. Our nutrition coaching options include:
1-on-1 Nutrition Coaching. We work to create a plan that’s not only catered to you, but doesn’t take away any of the joy of good food—so our focus is on the good things you can add to your diet, rather than what has to be eliminated. Healthy eating isn’t about sacrifice, just a strategy and the encouragement to put it into action. Single 60 min In Person or Zoom
Home cooking classes. Tell us what kinds of foods and flavors you like, any food allergies you may have, and we’ll choose a recipe we think you’ll love. We tell you what groceries to pick up. Then we help you cook a fresh, flavorful, organic meal from scratch.
Restaurant experiences. Bring a spouse or group of friends, experience a healthy restaurant with them and your coach, while learning about why these types of foods boost health and fitness results. (Just you and one friend is the same price as a coaching session. Group pricing depends on number of participants.)
Healthy grocery store tours. The idea is shop ‘n’ learn.
One Nutrition Coaching session, Cooking Class, or Grocery Store Tour (80-90 min): $350
Food Adventure is a 6 month/12 lesson package with ANY COMBINATION of nutrition coaching, grocery store tours, healthy restaurant experiences, or cooking classes. Mix and match!
If you choose to focus on cooking classes, your package includes home cooking gear that we ship to you. If you choose to focus on exploring healthy restaurants, and do NOT want kitchen gear, the same money is applied to the restaurant meals.
*We’re certified to offer general nutrition advice, but for any medical questions about nutrition, we will refer you to a registered dietician.
“What makes Lisa stand out is her interest in the client as a whole person. She always inquires what I’ve been doing besides exercising.
If you’re looking for a trainer who is knowledgeable and caring, On the Mend is for you.”
